Islam=Planet of the Arabs
Many people still believe that Islam is reflected in the Arab tribalistic behavior. We need to remind ourselves and others that not all Arabs are Muslims and that the Majority of Muslims are Not Arabs. I still have much love for my Arab brothers and sisters though.
Imam Siraj Wahaj
Imam Siraj Wahaj appears to be one of the voices of Muslim Americans and Islam in America. Along with other Imams like Hamza Yusef, Zaid Shakir, and a few others they offer our unique flavor of Islam. Yes there are different flavors of Islam. Look at how Islam in Gulf is different than North Africa, India, Turkey, Asia, and other parts of Africa. They are all valid, so our flavor would be no less valid. Takbeer!!!

This article does a decent job of show a balance image of Islam against the "see how much it is like Christianity" tone of the article.

The Black Mosque of Las Vegas
I don't like the whole Black Mosque, Arab Mosque, Pakistani or Bosinian Mosque thing that goes on, but here is an interesting article.
Virtual Muslims
When you saw Virtual Muslims you probably thought of the Samir or Myriam the dresses like a Brent or Becky. That isn't the case. Some enterprising brothers and sisters have a created a Muslim version of Second Life.
